ENVIROMENTAL

Since 1991, Las Vegas Paving Corporation has been active in the development and operation of plants and facilities for the recycling of hydrocarbon impacted soils. We have operated facilities in Nevada, California, Utah and Arizona and have successfully recycled over 1.6 million tons of impacted soil.

Our work has included the planning, permitting, execution, compliance monitoring, final reporting and emergency response on a variety of environmental remediation projects. Our broad client base includes governmental agencies, major oil companies, defense contractors, environmental consultants and remedial contractors.

Las Vegas Paving currently owns and operates both stationary and portable plants. Both types of plants are capable of treating hydrocarbon impacted soil at approximately 60 to 120 tons per hour, respectively. Through the use of an outside and independent laboratory, Las Vegas Paving assures that all soil is treated to Non-Detect limits. Unlike land-filling, this relieves the generator of the “Cradle to Grave” liability. Land-filling hydrocarbon impacted soil does not remediate the soil, it merely relocates the problem to a public or private site whereby generators of hydrocarbon impacted soil may be held responsible if the landfill causes ground or surface water contamination.

Las Vegas Paving’s Environmental Department employees are fully trained to handle any hazardous conditions that may arise, regardless of the job. They are also cross-trained for all storm-water compliance. From the permitting process to the implementation of the protection devices, to the monitoring of the project, Las Vegas Paving can assure our valued clients that costly fines from non-compliance with the Clean Water Act will be avoided.
