Construction of this City of Las Vegas CMAR project is set to begin on July 14, 2014, with a 450 calendar day duration. The total negotiated GMP for this project is $13.9 Million dollars. This project involves the installation of an updated storm drainage system, reconstruction of roadway and sidewalk along Main Street from I-515 to Bonneville Avenue. The project scope includes street improvements, driveway modifications, curb, gutter, and sidewalk reconstruction, roadway milling and overlay, construction of new pavement, major storm drain improvements, multiple utility relocations, streetlight upgrades, ITS conduit and fiber optic cable, waterline & sewer line relocations, landscaping, new signing and striping, and complete Traffic Signal modifications at six (6) intersections.

Las Vegas Paving is the prime contractor on this project and will be self-performing 75% or more of the work including removals, grading, paving, concrete, and traffic control, wet utilities, survey and overall project management on the project. Located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas and adjacent to the Fremont Street Experience, this project also involves a great deal of public outreach. Las Vegas Paving will be diligently working one on one with many casinos and other stake holders to provide continual access to the adjacent businesses.
